About Our Office

Hauser-Ross Optical was opened in March 2007 as a part of the Kishwaukee Health System. We are a full service optical with a variety of contact lenses and eyeglasses to fit every lifestyle and budget. Our frame selection includes designers such as Armani, Vera Wang, Liz Claiborne, Valentino, John Deere, and Nine West. We use the most current technology in lenses, including trivex materials and Anti-Reflective coatings. We also offer a wide variety of contact lenses including soft, hard, bifocal, toric, and many more to ensure that the lenses selected for you are the best fit for your needs.

About Our Doctor

Dr. Mark Rafferty Completed his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, in 1997. He was honored with the Aran Excellence in Ocular Disease Award at graduation. Dr. Rafferty has lectured at national meetings, written articles for optometric journals and has participated in multiple FDA studies involving contact lenses and solutions. He is a fellow of the Orthokeratology Academy of America and a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Rafferty and his wife reside in St. Charles, Illinois with their two children.
